2011 Cosmo Couture a Success! The 2011 IIDA MAC Designer Charity Event, Cosmo Couture, was held on October 12th at the Artisphere in Rosslyn, Virginia. The event was a juried competition and charity benefit in which local design firms partner with industry manufacturers creating high fashion. The beneficiary of this charitable event was My Sister’s Place, Inc. My Sister’s Place, Inc., the largest and oldest non-profit agency exclusively serving battered women and their children in the District of Columbia. We were honored to have participated in this wonderful event and look forward to another successful benefit next year. The Gazette of Politics and Business last week announced its P&B Exceptional Awards for Maryland businesses, and ranked NOS as 34th in the state. The 2011 competition marks the fifth year for the awards program and the second year in which NOS was honored.
